U9XX Series Sonic Analyzers for NDTesting of Concrete, Piles & Rock Mass

U9XX series crosshole sonic analyzers are top-of-the-line ultrasonic instruments for
comprehensive non-destructive quality and strength testing of non-metallic materials such as
concrete and rock mass. Developed by IWINTESTING EQUIPMENT and supplied by
Kreator Lab BG, these analyzers provide high-quality data on integrity, strength, defects and
defect shapes in piles, structural concrete and diaphragm walls, as well as in geological exploration tasks.

Description

Overview

U9XX series crosshole sonic analyzers are top-of-the-line instruments designed for
comprehensive non-destructive testing (NDT) of non-metallic materials, including
concrete and rock mass. The series is developed by IWINTESTING EQUIPMENT
and supplied by Kreator Lab BG as an official representative.

The devices are extremely easy to understand and operate, yet they provide top-quality data
on integrity, strength and other valuable mechanical properties of non-metallic materials. They are ideal
for defect detection and defect shape measurements in a wide range of
civil engineering and geotechnical applications.

U9XX series analyzers are perfectly suited for:

  • pile integrity testing
  • structural concrete compressive strength assessment
  • diaphragm wall integrity testing
  • geological exploration (e.g. rock integrity and weathering evaluation)

The U9XX series utilizes ultrasonic wave propagation to collect the most useful information
about the object under investigation, making it a powerful tool for non-destructive evaluation of
concrete structures and rock formations.

Measurement principle

The U9XX analyzers are based on the ultrasonic wave spreading properties in non-metallic
materials. By transmitting and receiving ultrasonic pulses through the material, the system measures:

  • acoustic travel time and its accuracy,
  • amplitude and waveform of received signals,
  • changes in signal characteristics caused by defects, cracks, inclusions and other discontinuities.

These measurements allow the user to assess material integrity, detect defects and evaluate strength-related
properties without damaging the structure.
